DC Comics Movie Retrospective

In the lead up to the release of the Batman vs. Superman film next week, a Canadian film editor, Miguel Branco has put together a DC comics movie retrospective – a cinematic review of (nearly) all the movies based on DC comics.

From an all-encompassing Batman trilogy to a few polarizing pictures involving masked vigilantes, Green Lanterns, and the Man of Steel himself, it’s safe to say that most of DC’s films have found homes in the hearts of many, despite dividing their audiences for years. Now on the eve of ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, it’s time to prepare ourselves for what will hopefully be many years of compelling stories, memorable onscreen characters, and heroic adrenaline at its pinnacle.

The 5 minute clip puts together some of the best scenes from DC movies. The editing is great, building to a nice climax with music taken from the soundtracks to the movies themselves. While it doesn’t cover all the movies based on DC comics, I think you will agree that Miguel has taken his passion for superhero movies and has put together a great cut of the amazing cinematic scenes from the greatest superhero movies in recent times. Plus its a great way to spend the time waiting for the new DC movies to hit the big screens!
